Level 2 Power Boat

Serious Experience. Seriously Good Fun

Train with professional instructors who’ve been there, done that and trained the people who keep others safe at sea. Whether you’re brand new or brushing up your skills, we’ll help you build confidence and have a great time doing it.

Looking to get qualified and confident at the helm of a powerboat? Our RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is the perfect place to start.

Over two days, you’ll learn how to safely and confidently handle a powered craft in both harbour and coastal conditions. This is a practical, hands-on course with a relaxed, professional approach—ideal for beginners and those looking to sharpen their skills.

What makes our course different?

Decades of Real-World Experience
Our instructors aren’t just qualified—they’ve spent 15+ years on the water as commercial skippers, RNLI helmsmen, coastguards and Royal Naval aircrew. You’ll be learning from the best.

A Serious Boat for Serious Learning
Train aboard our 7.8m RIB Craft powered by a 250hp Suzuki engine, fully kitted out with commercial-grade safety gear and modern navigation tech.

An Ideal Training Ground
Based in West Bay, we benefit from excellent pontoon access and a calm, uncrowded harbour—perfect for learning without pressure.

Fun, Focused & Confidence-Building
We believe training should be enjoyable and empowering. You’ll come away feeling more skilled and more confident, without the stress.
