Basic Sea Survival

This one day course prepares you to stay alive in an emergency. It will show you how to make the best use of a liferaft and you will learn some basic survival techniques. The course includes; preparation for survival, lifejackets, medical issues, search, rescue techniques and includes a practical session in a swimming pool to experience entering an inflated liferaft whilst fully kitted out.
On completion of this course candidates will have a good knowledge of survival techniques, the safety equipment carried on small boats and will have spent valuable time doing practical drills in a liferaft.
