RYA First Aid

Specifically tailored to the marine user, this one day first aid course is packed with the practical skills required to help you deal with a medical emergency at sea, specifically for those taking vessels up to 60 miles from a safe haven.

As well as practical sessions dealing with resuscitation, wound dressing etc, boating specific subjects are covered, including cold water shock and helicopter recovery.

This course meets the requirements of the regulations for skippers of small craft, candidates for the RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster offshore certificate examinations, RYA commercial endorsement and RYA Instructors.

Duration: One days.
Includes: 'First Aid Manual (8th edition - 2005 guidelines) with free emergency booklet.
