Safety Boat

This two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft or safety boat for a fleet of dinghies windsurfers or canoes or for racing or training activities. The course includes boat handling, rescue techniques for sailing dinghies, windsurfers and canoes, as well as towing.

The Powerboat Level 2 certificate must be held prior to the course and there candidates should have a basic understanding of sailing boats.
