Intermediate Powerboat

This two-day course covers practical use of navigation and passage planning by day on coastal waters, using both traditional and electronic navigational techniques.

Candidates should be competent to the standard of National Powerboat Certificate Level 2 with the coastal endorsement. The course provides a progression from Level 2, introducing pilotage, navigation and boat handling techniques for planing boats on coastal waters by day. On successful completion of the course candidates will be able to plan and execute short coastal passages by day.
