An ICC can be obtained following a two day course providing practical boat handling instruction and seamanship theory for those who require a qualification to drive powered craft in European and Mediterranean waters.
The course is completed with a short practical test together with an assessment of the candidate’s theoretical knowledge.
Successful candidates can apply to the RYA for the International Certificate of Competence in addition to either the RYA Helmsman Certificate or RYA Level 2 Power Boat Certificate being issued.
