Practical and Shore based courses

Lyme Bay Sea School is a recognised RYA (Royal Yachting Association) training centre. This means you can expect to be taught by an experienced instructor on a well maintained, suitable craft, on courses within the RYA’s proven training schemes. Qualifications earned on RYA courses are recognised throughout the world.

Our customers are mostly leisure boat users but we also teach commercial skippers and the auxiliary coast guard and are open all year round, 7 days a week, for practical and shore based training.
